February 12, 2025 – The Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA) and the Energy Efficiency Alliance of New Jersey (EEA-NJ)—a joint trade association for the energy efficiency industry in Pennsylvania and New Jersey—are pleased to announce their 2025 Board of Directors. Board members are elected by existing Board members and the business members of KEEA and EEA-NJ, a 501(c)6 organization whose mission is to champion efficiency as the foundation of a clean, just, and resilient energy economy. Board members serve a two-year term starting January 1. A complete Board member list is available at keealliance.org/keea-eea-nj-board. Board biographies are available at keealliance.org/keea-eea-nj-board/2025-bios.

KEEA and EEA-NJ’s new 2025 Board Officers will be:

  • President: Fred Maher, Director of Business Development, CMC Energy Services
  • Vice President: Kevin Warren, Principal, Warren Energy
  • Treasurer: Peter Krajsa, Co-Chair & Managing Member, National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF)
  • Secretary: Joe Nunley, Managing Consultant, Green Energy Economics Group

Taylor Adler (Program Manager II, Franklin Energy), Kyle Mann (President, LED Living Technology), and Laurie Wiegand-Jackson (Owner & President, Utility Advantage) are KEEA and EEA-NJ’s newest Board Members.

Board President Fred Maher (CMC Energy) shared the following statement on his new role leading the KEEA & EEA-NJ Board:

“From the next phase of Act 129 coming up in Pennsylvania, to the commencement of Triennium 2 in New Jersey, to federal policy changes stemming from a new administration, it’s a time of great uncertainty for our region’s energy efficiency industry. At this crucial moment, I’m pleased to take a leadership role in continuing KEEA & EEA-NJ’s advocacy for members of the trade organization and the entire sector. Now, more than ever, our region’s energy efficiency businesses need a voice in the policy decisions affecting them—and I’m certain KEEA & EEA-NJ will work hard to ensure that voice is heard.”

Vice-President Kevin Warren (Warren Energy) shared the following statement.

“As the head of a longtime business member of KEEA and EEA-NJ, I can testify to this trade association’s effectiveness. Influencing important policy decisions, providing education in members-only meetings, and creating vital networking opportunities at our region’s flagship energy efficiency conference are just a few of the benefits KEEA & EEA-NJ membership provides. As Vice-President, I’m pleased to take a leadership role in continuing and expanding these important benefits for our members.”

Taylor Adler, Program Manager II at longtime KEEA/EEA-NJ member Franklin Energy, shared the following statement on joining the Board:

“I’m proud to continue a tradition of Franklin Energy leadership in KEEA & EEA-NJ’s Board of Directors and general membership. As a national energy efficiency firm with more than 60 utility and government partners across the US and Canada, getting on-the-ground intelligence about policies and industry trends in Pennsylvania and New Jersey—as well as at the federal level—is vital for us. As a Board member, I look forward to helping KEEA & EEA-NJ shape those policies and trends over the next two years.”

Kyle Mann, President of lighting firm LED Living Technology in Hatboro, PA, shared the following statement:

“LED Living has only been a KEEA member since mid-2022, but we’ve been welcomed into the fold from the start. We’ve been able to expand our industry knowledge and make invaluable business connections to other firms thanks to KEEA & EEA-NJ’s member networks, while I personally have enjoyed taking on a leadership role in the conference planning committee. I look forward to many more years of fruitful partnership between LED Living and KEEA, and I’m honored to be elected to the Board of Directors.”

Laurie Wiegand-Jackson, President & Owner of Utility Advantage in Woodstown, NJ, shared the following statement:

“As a leading consulting firm in New Jersey’s utility and energy management sectors, we knew that membership in EEA-NJ was right for us. I’m excited to help this organization grow into an even more robust source of policy influence, hard-hitting analysis, and valuable member benefits. With the Triennium 2 programs underway in New Jersey and a new Governorship approaching and bringing new policies, our region’s energy efficiency industry needs leadership—and KEEA and EEA-NJ will be there to provide it.”

Jeaneen Zappa, Executive Director of KEEA, EEA-NJ, and companion 501(c)3 educational nonprofit the Energy Efficiency Alliance, shared the following statement:

“As we look ahead to a new year and a new federal administration, I am immensely pleased that KEEA and EEA-NJ’s Board of Directors reflects the strength and diversity of our region’s energy efficiency landscape. All sectors of our industry—from program designers and implementers to engineers, manufacturers, HVAC firms, software service providers, community groups, consultants, and more—deserve representation, information, and analysis about the trends and policies affecting them. KEEA and EEA-NJ’s 2025 Board reflects that. Our mix of experienced Board members preserving institutional continuity and new members bringing fresh perspectives, in addition to a rock-solid and accomplished slate of Officers, ensures a bright future for our trade organization.”

KEEA & EEA-NJ also extend sincere thanks to departing Board members Julie de Seve (Program Director, CLEAResult), Liz McQuaide (Senior Programs Manager, Franklin Energy), and Nancy Mifflin (Principal, Mifflin Consulting).
