Dear EEA Members and Supporters,
EEA staff and board have decided to postpone our upcoming policy conference. Forging the Future for Energy Efficiency, which was scheduled to take place September 22-23rd, will now take place in spring 2022. We did not make the decision to postpone lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Our goal is to hold a high-value, well-attended, and safe event featuring quality speakers and plenty of networking opportunities. Rising COVID cases made it clear that we can’t hold that event this September. Rather than moving the conference online, we’ve decided to plan a robust in-person event next year.
While we are disappointed to be missing you in September, we are absolutely looking forward to an exciting and substantial in-person conference in 2022! We hope you’ll join us next spring for two days of networking and content, featuring many of the same speakers slated to join us in 2021.
If you purchased a 2021 ticket, instructions for opting to apply your ticket towards 2022 are already in your inbox. You can find that email by looking for a subject line that reads “Please Read: ‘Forging the Future’ Conference Postponed”. If you purchased a 2021 ticket but didn’t receive an email, please contact Communications and Events Manager Katie Thompson (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We’ll be sharing new conference dates and registration options with our newsletter subscribers closer to spring.
Thank you for your understanding and support during these uncertain times. We are all looking forward to seeing you at a safe, educational, and fun policy conference in 2022.
