Elizabeth Weiner, Senior Policy Advisor, CLEAResult

Ms. Weiner promotes effective energy efficiency and clean energy policies in many of the states where CLEAResult operates, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Illinois. Based in CLEAResult’s New York City office, she works with the Regulatory Affairs and Market Development team, monitoring and advocating across the Eastern and Midwestern regions for clean energy policy development and robust regulation that promotes energy efficiency as a resource. She serves as Vice President of the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA) in Pennsylvania; a member of the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Clean Energy New York (ACE NY); and previously served on the board of Ohio Advanced Energy Economy, as a member of the New York City Apollo Alliance Steering Committee and of the advisory committee of the El Puente Green Light District, among other organizations.  Previously, Weiner served as Mid-Atlantic Policy Director at Conservation Services Group (CSG), which was acquired by CLEAResult in 2015.

Prior to 2007, when she joined CSG, Weiner was a Senior Editor at BusinessWeek magazine, where she directed award-winning journalism on wide range of subjects while managing a corps of veteran reporters and recruiting/mentoring new talent. Weiner earned an M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, and an A.A. from Simon’s Rock Early College.
