Liz Robinson has served as the Executive Director of the Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) since its inception in 1984. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Goucher College with a BA in International Relations and holds an MFA from Wayne State University. She has over 30 years of experience in energy services, community development, training and education. ECA is a non-profit corporation which provides a full range of energy services to residential and commercial customers in the Philadelphia area.
ECA and its network of Neighborhood Energy Centers serve more than 20,000 low income households every year, providing services whose value exceeds $20,000,000 to their recipients. ECA is a leader in energy efficient, sustainable housing, both affordable and market rate, and is a LEED for Homes and an ENERGY STAR Homes provider. ECA administers the EnergyWorks residential program which is designed to increase the energy efficiency of thousands of homes in the 5 county Philadelphia region and Rain Check, Philadelphia’s residential stormwater management program. In 2010, ECA launched the Green Jobs Training Center, focusing on meeting the workforce needs of the energy efficiency industry.
